The Beauty of Art 💙

Art has been used throughout history to communicate and express religious beliefs, and its application to Bible Studies can enable us to enhance our knowledge and learning experience whilst deepening our spritual connection.

Visual representation allow us to to have a deeper understanding of stories. Using arts connect us to having emotions, and in turn we have emotional struggled and triumphs of the characters in the Bible.

Singing and dancing evoke strong emotions, inviting us to think about our traditions and customs and how we can use them to share the gospel.

Hearing different songs from different countries and experiencing different ways to pray opened my mind to understand that there are many ways to share the word of the Lord.

Doing Godly play on the other side was a new experience for me. It creates a nurturing and respectful environment for individuals to explore and experience their faith and spirituality. Reminded me of how my Grandparents and parents used to do our story telling session when we are young.

Given a sketchbook, coloured pencils and visual materials for this week's course reminded me the importance of introducing these ideas to our youth back home.

Technology is fast paced in our communities hindering the involvements of youth to take part in our community engagements activities.

That's the beauty of being a participant for this year right?

How i wish you (my youth group) are all here with me in this journey 🥰🥰
